The Shadyside Mall killings is an incident that occurred on the Friday, 30th of September 1994 at the Shadyside Mall. The killings were done by Ryan Torres while under the influence of Satan. It took place during Fear Street Part 1: 1994, the incident was reported in the newspaper the following day on the 1st of October.
It ended with eight dead, one identified as Heather Watkins whereas the other seven were left unidentified. Ryan Torres was killed by Sheriff Nick Goode. before the former came back as a resurrected killer. It was preceded by the Camp Nightwing massacre but not followed by any new killings due to the curse being broken.
The only survivor was Martin P. Franklin, the mall's janitor who survived due to being away from Ryan at the time of the killings, he was falsely imprisoned only to be eventually freed. The mall killings were blamed on Simon Kalivoda and Kate Schmidt after their deaths as they were known for doing drugs.

On the night of Friday, 31st September 1994, the bookstore was closed by Heather Watkins where she was then approached by Ryan Torres who showed off his sex doll, a thing which he had named Jasmine. After leaving Heather, Ryan moved away to be alone where he began to hear voices, eventually, he succumbed to the curse and murdered six of the mall's other employees before targeting Heather.
Upon learning she was in trouble, Heather called the authorities to report a person in a costume chasing her with a knife though she ran in an attempt to get to safety. Running through the mall, Heather found the bodies of the other victims only for Ryan to catch up to her, Heather was then stabbed to death by him. Heather bled out to death moments before Sheriff Nick Goode shot Ryan in the head.
The incident was then reported in the Shadyside Herald the following day. Later that day, Deena Johnson agreed to blame the killings on her friends, Simon Kalivoda and Kate Schmidt, and that they were done while under the influence of drugs before they too were killed.
