Early life[]

Nick Goode was born to Joseph Goode and an unnamed mother as the eldest son between him and his brother Will and so due to this, he was taught by his father about the ritual which traditionally went from first born to first born. Nick would become a counselor to Camp Nightwing who grew close to a camper named Ziggy.

History[]

In 1978, he was a counselor who was first introduced after discovering his brother and friends were in the middle of burning Ziggy's arm, he runs over with Kurt and tells Will that if the group doesn't let her down then he will tell their mom. Nick attempts to be friendly to Ziggy only for her to point out that he's from Sunnyvale and she's not.

Due to Tommy starting to hear voices moments before the teams would play their annual game of capture the flag, it can be assumed that Nick had been absent because he had gone down to the witch's mark to give Tommy up to the devil which is further proven when Mary admits to the would be killer that she saw his name on the wall.

He is seen again when hanging out with Ziggy and away from the killings however Tommy finds them and only targets Ziggy due to her being a Shadysider however Nick jumps in the way to save her and the back of his ankle is slashed but he survives only with a limp which he seems to still suffer from in 1994. Despite being the reason why there was a murder spree, Nick appears to be grossed out at the sight of the deceased campers as well as getting blood on his shirt whether or not this was done to trick viewers or because he was different than the rest of his family is unknown, he also mentions multiple times to Ziggy that he is a fan of Stephen King books and that his favorite one was Salem's Lot, he would also reference Carrie when finding Ziggy alone in her cabin also stating that the book is his second favorite. When Ziggy asks if Nick should be turning her in, he claims he noticed she was missing and went to find her and when she dismisses his help to get revenge on Sheila, he goes to leave but prompts her to "Carrie on" before grinning at her and leaving the cabin.

"Yeah, I didn't have a pig, so"

"Carrie? cool"

1994[]

He is first introduced when he was called to the scene of Heather's murder where he shoots and kills Ryan although too late to save the victim's life however since he was the one to sacrifice Ryan for the ritual, he already knew there would be some fatal casualties, since the witch's mark is accessible through the mall through a door that only presumably Nick used he was already on the scene waiting to appear at the right moment to be viewed as the town hero.

Nick would later on tell Deena and Sam that their chaser could not be Ryan Torres as the latter had been killed and showed the two proof through a proof of Ryan laid on the floor with the bullet wound visible. He would go on to arrest Martin the mall janitor even admitting to him that he knew the spray cans he found weren't Martin's but were instead his before leaving.

In part 3 during his attempt to kill Deena after he learns that she discovers the truth, he is cornered in the witch's mark and surrounded by those who were victims to the murders, a furious Sarah Fier then tells Nick that he will never escape her before stabbing him in the eye both killing him and ending the curse.

When asked if he knew what his brother had done, Will stated that he had no idea about his brother's evil schemes. Whilst possible that other members of the Goodes gave up more than once person in different years, Nick is the only one on screen to have been confirmed to have done so, giving up both Tommy in 1978 and Ryan in 1994.

Other information[]

Due to his Sunnyvale life, he was shown to have lived in a lavished house that housed a lot of items such as status and even a piano, the household also had a goats head mounted on the wall and another goat statue close to it which could be a symbol of how the family had connections to the devil, the bookshelf that surrounds the family tree includes books from other authors but most notably Stephen King's Christine, amongst the collection also appears to be Hocus Pocus, A day of reckoning, The blood of his servants, Friendly Spies as well as others. Two pictures are also seen, one of Nick who appears to be golfing and another of him with his brother, since both pictures show Nick to be in his adulthood, it can be assumed that the pictures were taken in the early 90s by an unknown person most likely Ms. Goode if she was still alive by then but it is still unconfirmed.
