This page features the rules of the Fear Street wiki and are to be followed by all those who contribute to the wiki.
General Behaviour
- Do not start any form of edit war. An edit war is when two users argue over certain events
Example: "This happened on this day"/"It can't have done because this didn't happen until this day".
Result: Both parties will receive a warning at first that will extend into a block for a week and for good if continued.
- Do not add false information. As the name implies, false information is when the contribution added is fake. When new information is added, proof is also required and must be a reliable source such as where it is from.
Example: "Kiana Madeira will reprise her role as Deena Johnson in Fear Street: Prom Queen".
Result: A warning will be issued but if it is done several more times with malicious intent then a week long ban which will extend for longer until the account is banned for good.
- No harassment of any kind. This means no racism, homophobia, transphobia, slurs, derogatory phrases or anything else along those lines. While one slur against lesbians is used in Fear Street Part 3: 1666 by Nicholas "Nick" Goode, it is not to be used against any user on this wiki. The only time it is allowed is if referring to the scene it is in.
Example: "I think it's disgusting Sam and Deena are together".
Result: Any user caught doing this will be given a warning and if it is done again and again, the user will be banned for good instead of being given a second chance,
Contributions
If one wishes to edit on this wiki then they must have an account. This is so if there is a problem or if they need to be contacted or warned then it can be done on their message wall.
- Reliable sources. A reliable source is what can back up an edit, sources can range from trustworthy news articles and the films themselves.
Example: "Nick and Will's father is called Joseph Goode, it is shown on the Goode family tree from the house tour video by Kiana Madeira and Olivia Scott Welch".
Result: The user in question will be asked to provide proof, this can come in the form of a link to a reliable news website or Youtube video, Netflix itself and screenshots.
Basic Questions
- "Can I be an Admin?".
If you wish to be part of the staff, please contribute to the wiki so that we can see if you can be trusted to be an Administrator.
- "Where can I watch the films?".
On Netflix as anywhere else would be pirating. Netflix requires a paid subscription with its prices varied depending on your country.
- "Are any of the actors on the wiki?".
No and any user claiming that are is fake and will be banned. "Are the staff associated with the films or Netflix?". No, this wiki is just like any other and acts as a way to provide information on the franchise.
